Racism in Cartoons

This young man did a great job analyzing stereotypes in cartoons, connecting them to United States historical events (ie: segregation, Civil Rights), and narrating the images he sites as examples.  Some of the examples he uses are repeats - I have the entire video clip in other posts on this blog.

• What happens when an entire group of people is only known by a particular image, song, dance, or symbol?

• What stereotypes are portrayed?
